You guys should plan it at a bar or over a barbeque and call it a Sarge release party. :) Regards, Mako -- Benjamin Mako Hill mako@debian.org http://mako.cc/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Sorry for the short notice -- but if you don't have other plans for tomorrow, how about a nice drive down to Beaverton to share in some Debian camaraderie, beer and bbq? Information below. Cheers, -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer ----- Forwarded message from Isaac Jones ----- Due to the powers of copy-and-paste, I am including an updated email with more information. Feel free to copy and paste this to your friends. peace, isaac Hi folks, So, I suppose everyone knows by know that sarge released, which makes this the best excuse of the decade ;) for the Portland area Debian folks to get together and celebrate. Isaac Jones and Steve Langasek think we've come up with an appropriate plan of celebration, thanks to the gracious hospitality of a fellow Debian-using friend, Brett Letner, who has agreed to host a Sarge release party this weekend. The tentative plan is for beer and BBQ at Brett's place at 4pm on Saturday. Bring your families, significant others, and whoever else you pick up on the street that's as excited as you are about the sarge release. :) Food and refreshments will be free, but bring your own alcohol if you want any. Also, let us know if there's any food in particular you'd like to consume. 20848 SW Lillian Ct. Beaverton, OR 97007 It is out west - if you make it to 209th and Farmington you are pretty close (near Jenkins estate). If you think you'll be joining us, please RSVP to either Isaac or Steve with a headcount so that we can work out the logistics of this event. Looking forward to meeting you all :) ----- End forwarded message ----- -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I banged up my leg and am not all that mobile right now so I won't be able to make it. I'm glad to see there is some Debian interest in the area (although I'm using Ubuntu these days).
