Isaac Jones and I have agreed that the Portland area should hold a release
party in honor of the sarge release, and we'd love it if some of the Seattle
area folk would come down and join us!  Sorry for the short notice -- but
if you don't have other plans for tomorrow, how about a nice drive down to
Beaverton to share in some Debian camaraderie, beer and bbq?

Hi folks,

So, I suppose everyone knows by know that sarge released, which makes
this the best excuse of the decade ;) for the Portland area Debian
folks to get together and celebrate.  Isaac Jones and Steve Langasek
think we've come up with an appropriate plan of celebration, thanks to
the gracious hospitality of a fellow Debian-using friend, Brett
Letner, who has agreed to host a Sarge release party this weekend.

The tentative plan is for beer and BBQ at Brett's place at 4pm on
Saturday.  Bring your families, significant others, and whoever else
you pick up on the street that's as excited as you are about the sarge
release. :)

Food and refreshments will be free, but bring your own alcohol if you
want any.  Also, let us know if there's any food in particular you'd
like to consume.

Sounds like fun, although since I started using Sarge the day Woody was
released, it seems a bit anticlimatic.  I banged up my leg and am not
all that mobile right now so I won't be able to make it.  I'm glad to
see there is some Debian interest in the area (although I'm using Ubuntu
these days).
